Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless Gets Release Date in New Story Trailer

NIS America announced that they will publish Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 3, 2023. The publisher confirmed the game will also release on October 5 in Europe and October 13 in Oceania.

To celebrate the announcement, the publisher has released a new story trailer highlighting the characters and gameplay for players to get a preview of the English version of the game. This release follows the Japanese release that took place earlier this year, so it seems like the team is closing the game on localization.

Further, director Shunsuke Minowa will be hosting a Reddit AMA on June 7, 2023, at 1 pm PT on the JRPG board.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless follows Fuji, a poor demon who is allergic to human expressions, including emotions such as love and friendship. Further, other characters include Piririka, Ao, Wey-yasu, and Higan Zesshousai, who each join the adventure.

A new feature of the game is Dodeka MAX, where the character grows larger than the map and can unleash powerful attacks on multiple enemies. Additionally, items can now be reincarnated to be stronger, similar to weapons. Characters can also be reincarnated to return to level 1 but with the option to retain some of their stats.
