Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny Launches Valvatorez and Pleinair DLC With Gameplay Trailer
NIS America launched new character DLC for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, available now on Nintendo Switch.
Players can now add Valvatorez and his sardine-loving vocabulary along with Pleinair and her bunny crew to the party. Each character has unique attacks and abilities that they bring to the party, but I feel like they are mostly just here to reunite fans with old characters.
The DLC is available as part of the Disgaea 6 Season Pass or sold separately as a standalone purchase. The Season Pass is available for $34.99 and will include 15 DLC characters as they release from now until mid-August. Standalone characters cost $3.99 each.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is the first new Disgaea mainline entry to release in six years. The story follows Zed, a zombie that has risen from the depths of the underworld and conquered everyone except for the God of Destruction himself.
Players will witness how a zombie boy turns the Netherworld upside down as Zed steps up to the God of Destruction and his minions. The game features Super Reincarnation, 3D character models, which are new for the series, and adjustable gameplay settings to make the experience a little easier.
In case you missed it, free Hololive character DLC is available, and check out our review.
