Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny Gets Systems Overview Trailer Hosted by Characters

NIS America released a new trailer for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, coming to Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021.

The trailer highlights the newest systems added to the SRPG series that show a natural evolution of older systems that fans would likely know a bit about. One new feature is Super Reincarnation, where the player can reset a character’s level back to 1, but with higher base stats. The video also mentions that Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will include a more “Casual” mode for those who believe the series is too difficult. Additionally, there’s an add fast-forward option and an auto-battle mode that can be customized by character.

In Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destinythe strongest God of Destruction has begun causing chaos around the Netherworlds without any real method to their madness. The Darkest Assembly begins to wrap their heads around how to counter this opponent when they received word that a little zombie had already destroyed it.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is the first new Disgaea mainline entry to release in six years. The story follows Zed, a zombie that has risen from the depths of the underworld and conquered everyone except for the God of Destruction himself.

Players will witness how a zombie boy turns the Netherworld upside down as Zed steps up to the God of Destruction and his minions. The game features Super Reincarnation, 3D character models, which is new for the series, and adjustable gameplay settings to make the experience a little easier.
