Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny Introduces Cast of Characters in Trailer With English Audio

NIS America released a new trailer for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, coming to Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021.

The trailer highlights a handful of characters that players will meet on this new journey. Further, it also shows off the English voice cast that the publisher put together for this release. Each character is rather over-the-top, but it very much sounds like a Disgaea adventure.

A Reddit AMA was also announced for February 1 at 5 PM PT on r/Games with Nippon Ichi Software president and Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny producer, Sohei Niikawa. Participants are encouraged to check-in starting from 4 PM PT to submit their questions.

In Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, the strongest God of Destruction has begun causing chaos around the Netherworlds without any real method to their madness. The Darkest Assembly begins to wrap their heads around how to counter this opponent when they received word that a little zombie had already destroyed it.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is the first new Disgaea mainline entry to release in six years. The story follows Zed, a zombie that has risen from the depths of the underworld and conquered everyone except for the God of Destruction himself.

Players will witness how a zombie boy turns the Netherworld upside down as Zed steps up to the God of Destruction and his minions. The game features Super Reincarnation, 3D character models, which is new for the series, and adjustable gameplay settings to make the experience a little easier.
