Classic Pocket Monster Tribute ‘Disc Creatures’ Gets PC Release Date and New Trailer
Dangen Entertainment announced that the Picorinne Soft developed monster-catching RPG Disc Creatures will launch on PC-via Steam on October 17.
Created as a tribute to classic Game Boy monster-catching RPGs, Disc Creature aims to recapture everything that fans may remember. During the game, players will choose from three starter creatures and set off as what is known as a Disc Ranger with the hopes of capturing the greatest creatures and bring peace to the land.
Throughout the game, players will meet a variety of Disc Creatures who they’ll be tasked with taming. However, they’ll also meet some characters in need who will send them on more quests around the region. There is also the issue of a group of darker people who might pose a threat to you and Disc Creatures alike.
Disc Creatures features 200 different creatures to collect and use in battle along with a large cast of human characters. Each in-game creature has a unique skill tree containing moves that can be unlocked through growth and items. The game has over 20 hours of gameplay and is designed by Japanese indie creator SATTO.
In order to get a better idea of the game, the publisher released the first trailer showing the beginning of the adventure and more Disc Creatures.
