Digimon Survive Tells Players Not to Post Spoilers From Chapter 5 Onward

The official Twitter account for Digimon Games has shared a new message to fans who will be playing Digimon Survive when it launches on July 29, 2022.

Due to this title being heavily story-focused, it is highly advised to avoid sharing screenshots from the game on social media that showcase significant events from Chapter 5 onward. This story section is likely when the route divergences occur. Still, if one decides to share content from those parts of the game, they should mark their messages as spoilers beforehand.

You can view the tweet initially sharing this message below:

Digimon Survive will focus heavily on the story of the characters and their relationships with their Digimon. The team’s approach to this new title will utilize this generation’s hardware as much as possible in a blend of 2D illustration with 3D environments. During battles, Digimon will be able to Digivolve right on the maps. The matches’ battle flow will be as fluid as possible while retaining the strategic mechanics of taking advantage of enemy weaknesses.

Digimon Survive will feature dramatic story sections where players learn more about the characters and the world, much like a visual novel. In addition, however, additional gameplay elements have been added to feature large-scale battles between Digital Monsters.

Digimon Survive is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One on July 29, 2022.
