Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition Coming to Switch and PC this Fall; Follow-Up Game Teased

During Bandai Namco America’s “Future of Digimon” panel at Anime Expo 2019, the publisher announced that a complete edition of the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth series will be heading to PC and Switch on October 18. Given that it includes the Cyber Sleuth series, the edition will include both the original Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and its follow-up Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory.

For a little history lesson, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth was first released worldwide for PS Vita and PlayStation 4  on February 2, 2016. Not too long after that, the follow-up, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, had a PlayStation 4-exclusive worldwide release on January 19, 2018. The series is basically known as being a Persona-like Digimon series as both games feature quite dark and thrilling adventures, fun turn-based combat, plenty of monsters to collect, and a unique anime art style.

Going back to the panel, though, Bandai Namco also teased that a new Digimon Story game is in development. No specific release details were given, however, it apparently won’t be a sequel of the first two.

We’ll be sure to get more details soon, but for now, check out the latest trailer for Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition below:
