Digimon Con Livestream Event Planned for February; Fingers Crossed for Digimon Survive News

The Digimon series has been a little dormant this past year. The effects of Covid-19 on the development of video games and tech have left fans starving for more. As restriction ease up, fans should expect more reveals to happen.

Well, they won’t have to wait long because Bandai Namco revealed they will host a Digimon Con on February 26, 2022. The special live stream event will be shared globally and feature an English version for western fans to watch.

You can view the stream on the publisher’s YouTube channel on February 26, at 5 pm PST. The event is free to view and will cover “a wide range of content for the enjoyment of people all over the world who love Digimon.”

The segments of the event include:

  • Digimon anime special planning segment
  • Digimon series game info segment
  • Digimon Vital Bracelet Series new info and special app-related planning segment
  • Announcement of the initial selection results of the Digimon Illustration Competition
  • Special live performance by singer Ayumi Miyazaki
  • And more…

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the event and the news from the show. Many of us are hoping for more information on a Digimon Survive, but we wouldn’t mind a new entry of the Cybersleuth or World series.
