Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning Coming to US Theaters This November; New Trailer Showcases Voice Cast

Toei Animation released a trailer for the English debut of the Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning anime film. The trailer also reveals that Digimon fans can watch the US release from November 8 through November 9 at select theaters. November 8 will feature the English dub, while November 9 will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles. You can purchase tickets at the Fathom Events website.

The publisher also announced that the English film will begin with a special message from the film’s director, Tomohisa Taguchi. Further, the first 50 guests to arrive at each night’s screening will receive a Digimon Card Game Tamer Party Pack The Beginning ver. 2.0.

In the year 2012, a full decade has transpired since the events of the previous adventure in the Digital World. Daisuke Motomiya, now twenty years old, along with the other DigiDestined, finds themselves gradually undergoing transformations in both their appearances and ways of life. However, this sense of normalcy is disrupted when an enormous Digitama unexpectedly materializes in the skies above Tokyo Tower. It is during this unusual occurrence that Daisuke and his companions cross paths with an enigmatic young man named Lui Ohwada, who imparts some intriguing information to them.
