Maximum Entertainment announced they are hosting a free playtest for their co-op fighter Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age on PC via Steam.
The playtest will be available until January 3. During that time, players are able to experience new content and two characters, Nyra, a rapper, and Eleanora, a mob boss. They will join the three other characters, Rory, Ruby, and Fritz, who were available in the previous Beta test. Alongside these new characters, a brand-new “Free for All” mode is available: four players, three lanes, winner takes all.
Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age redefines the fighting game genre by emphasizing 2v2 cooperative matches, both locally and online. Set in a visually stunning Dieselpunk world, the game stands out with its roster of distinct characters, diverse stages, and a unique 3-lane system. This system introduces new dimensions to team dynamics and matchups, allowing for powerful attacks and strategic plays.
A key feature of the game is its cutting-edge RealMatch rollback netcode, which virtually eliminates lag in online matches. This technology ensures a smooth, uninterrupted gaming experience, making every move and punch count during online play. In addition to its innovative multiplayer aspect, Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age offers comprehensive training modes and a story mode, providing players with opportunities to improve their skills against AI opponents. This blend of advanced technology, unique gameplay mechanics, and rich graphical detail makes it a noteworthy addition to the fighting game scene.
Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
