Devolver Digital’s E3 2019 Press Conference Was Full of Absurdity and Notable Announcements

Devolver Digital decided to expand on their cinematic universe tonight as the publisher announced a handful of notable titles from a diverse line-up of games.

Over the overly violent and dramatic press conference, players got the chance to learn about Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which puts 100 contestants together online in a mad dash through round after round of chaos until one victor remains. Players will take on bizarre obstacles and play during this comedic take on the battle royal genre.

Coming to PlayStation 4 and PC in 2020.

Next, the company revealed Devolver Bootleg, which contains eight original rip-offs of past Devolver Digital games including, Enter the Gun Dungeon, Hotline Milwaukee, Ape Out Jr., and ShootyBoots.

Available now on PC-via Steam.

Additionally, the publisher revealed that they’ll be publishing Carrion, a horror game where players assume the role of an amorphous creature. Players will traverse through the environments absorbing all living things around them as they grow and evolve to get through various puzzles and gain abilities.

Coming to PC-via Steam in 2020.

Interestingly, the publisher announced Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead as an original two-player light gun arcade game where players explore a dungeon floor by floor and shoot their way through the army of the Gundead. Throughout the game, players will unlock new weapons and power-ups as they dodge roll their way to victory. The game will be available at your local arcade and at home.

Coming to Arcades in 2020.
