Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Adds New Features and Playable Vergil for PS5 and Xbox Series X
Capcom launched a new trailer announcing Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, a new version of the game created for next-generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will launch digital-only for launch day on both consoles, with a planned physical release after. The game uses the proprietary RE Engine, which has been enhanced to take advantage of more powerful hardware. This version of the game will feature ray tracing technology and enhance 3D audio, along with new modes, Turbo Mode and Legendary Dark Knight Mode.
Players can choose to enable increased frame rates of up to 120fps, play in stunning 4K fidelity on supporting consoles, and experience the added sense of realism offered by the life-like reflections, shadows, and lighting of ray tracing technology. This tech will not work on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X out of the box and requires an update that will be available to download.
With Vergil now playable, players will be able to play through Red Grave City and utilize his unique skillset. Furthermore, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners are able to download the patch for $4.99.
More news about this game will come during TGS 2020 Online, also, in case you missed it check out our review.
