Devil May Cry 5 Debuts Fast and Stylish Gameplay at TGS

Capcom launched the first gameplay trailer for their recently announced action title Devil May Cry 5, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8.

Devil May Cry 5 is set in Red Grave City, which is overrun by demons. During the game, Dente must team up with Nero and weapons artist Nico to assist him with his investigation and extermination techniques. During the trailer, players can witness Dante knocking out demons with his sword, Rebellion, and guns Ebony and Ivory. Dante’s Devil Trigger is also shown to give players a preview of everything that players can in this new entry in the series.

The story of Devil May Cry 5 finds Dante and Nero in the middle of a mystery surrounding a demon tree Qlipoth, which has grown in the city center. The game will allow players to play as three different characters, Nero, Dante, and the newly revealed V. Additionally information about the game will be released soon.

Author’s take: It’s good to see this series returning to its roots and focusing on pure demon hunting excitement. Not to mention you can use a freakin’ motorcycle as a weapon. I’m interested to see how the story plays out and how the controls feel while pulling off some of these moves.
