Stylish Action Title ‘Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition’ Gets Switch Release Date

Capcom announced that they will continue to bring the Devil May Cry series to Nintendo Switch with the release of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, set to release digitally on Switch on February 20, 2020, for $19.99.

This will be the first time that Devil May Cry 3 has been available on a mobile consol and will contain all 9,999 floors of the “Bloody Palace” survival mode. Currently, Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2 are each available on the system.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is a prequel to the entire series and introduces players to a younger version of Dante. The story leads up to the face-of against Dante and his twin brother, Vergil, who is attempting to unlock a gate to the demonic realm. Dante uses his sword Rebellion and dual pistols, Ebony and Ivory, to try and stop him to prevent the world from being overrun by demons.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition features fast action gameplay with six selectable style options to change up the gameplay. Each style has its own range of features that players can customize and level up.
