Furry-Noir Detective Adventure ‘Backbone’ Gets PC Release Date

Raw Fury announced that EggNut-developed noir adventure Backbone will launch on PC-via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store on June 8, 2021. A console release is planned for later this year.

Backbone has been in development for five years as players assume the role of a raccoon who must explore the underbelly of Vancouver. The furry adventure is full of meaningful interactions with other anthropomorphic animals as players must unravel a mystery that only this raccoon detective can solve.

However, after years of small-time cases, lonely evenings, and just barely scraping by, he is swept into a job quite unlike any other before it. What starts as a menial case slowly unravels into something much darker, pitting Howard against the oppressive, systemic power hierarchies of the City itself.

Currently, the Backbone: Prologue is available on Steam and GOG, which acts as an introduction to the setting and world.
