Mobile CCG ‘Destiny Child’ Launches Update Adding New Waifu and Narrative Dungeon

Shift Up has launched a new update for their mobile CCG Destiny Child, available now on iOS and Android devices.

Starting today through May 28, players will be able to play through a new Narrative Dungeon that shines a light on the backstory of the Destiny Child’s new character as well as give players a chance to earn rewards. The dungeon, titled “Re:Birth Lab Historia,” focuses on how the devil Wodan first met Methuselah and set up a laboratory to seek true beauty. Clearing the dungeon will unlock the Child Woden and reward the player with 5-star Child Summon Ticket and various equipment.

During the event, players can also earn Re:Birth Coins that allows them to purchase new costumes. The costumes available are:

• 5-star Pactmaker Costumes – Ichigo Ihara (Tyrving), Reika Kuroki (Ashtoreth), Mortal Realm Wodan (Wodan), Sayoko Hanazono (Bathory), Katsumi Tohdoh (Astraea)
• 4-star Pactmaker Costumes – Yoshiko Yoshida (Quirinus), Shino Tsurumaki (Sonnet), Asagiri Theresa (Unknown), Yano Mayomi (Gungnir)
• 3-star Pactmaker Costumes – Kaneko Kaneda (Baphomet), Kageko Kurokasa (Cynthia), Sana Tanikawa (Alecto)

Destiny Child includes over 300 character cards to collect and nurture. Each character has their own story that players will be able to build a party for various strategic plays to progress the narrative. The game originally launched in 2016 in Korea.
