Stealth Adventure ‘Desperados III’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Date With New Trailer

THQ Nordic announced that the Mimimi Games-developed tactics adventure Desperados III will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 16.

Desperados III is a story-driven tactical stealth game where players find themselves in the wild west. The story acts as a prequel to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive as players assume the role of John Cooper who has joined forces with the runaway bride Kate, the shady hitman Doc McCoy, the giant trapper Hector, and Isabelle, a mysterious lady from New Orleans. Cooper is on a quest for redemption and he and his gang will need to travel across various environments to obtain that.

Players will need to strategize how they approach situations within the game. Each character has a set of skills they can use during a mission, which might make things a little easier. The camera sits at an isometric view as players sneak around and take out their targets.

During gameplay players will take out large groups of enemies using non-lethal or deadly attacks, this includes utilizing a stealth or guns blazing method. There is also a Showdown mode that allows players to pause the game and react to ambushes or surprise attacks.

The publisher has revealed a Collector’s Edition for $109.99, which includes:
