Demonschool Update Adds New Game+ and Expanded Character Interactions

Ysbryd Games and Necrosoft Games have announced that Demonschool has received a new update focused on quality-of-life improvements, expanded character interactions, and gameplay options following continued player feedback.

The central addition is a New Game+ mode that allows players to restart the campaign while carrying over abilities, opals, credits, relationships, clubhouse upgrades, clubhouse styles, and collected fish from completed save data. Characters also become fully playable much earlier in the game once the full party is assembled around late week 10, allowing players to use party members in battles where they normally would not appear.

The update also expands character interactions throughout the clubhouse. Non-Faye character relationships now trigger short dialogue scenes after completing battles together, with 182 new interaction variations added across the cast. Clubhouse dialogue has also been expanded significantly, with characters now reacting to the current clubhouse style and activities taking place around them.

Several interface and pacing improvements are also included. Players can now access a text log containing the previous 20 lines of dialogue, while cutscene actions and character movement speeds have been adjusted across several slower story weeks.

Demonschool now supports full mouse-only controls, too. Players can move Faye with left-click movement commands or use right-click dragging for cursor-following movement. The update also includes numerous fixes for minigames, abilities, achievements, and battles.
