Persona and SMT-Inspired Tactics RPG ‘Demonschool’ Gets New Gameplay Trailer Showing Off Boss Battles

Ysbryd Games released a new trailer for the Necrosoft Games-developed tactical RPG Demonschool, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2023.

The trailer highlights some new allies that have not been seen before, including the professional powerlifter Ti and Kestrel, Faye’s sassy, poised rival. Further, we get a chance to preview some new boss encounters and how these characters can take on this threat.

Combat takes place on a grid, with rewindable decisions and other mechanics that make this tactical experience swifter than the expected conventions of the genre. There are also social life aspects where players can bond with select characters, study specific subjects, and even form romantic relationships. Several endings will also be available.

The Italian horror cinema presentation inspiration arises from the ‘60s and ‘70s movies “drenched in strange visuals and hellish grotesquery driven by a funky bassline that renders even the most horrific scenario irreverent.”

We’ll keep you updated on the development and release of Demonschool.
