Arc System Works has released the opening movie for its upcoming tactical RPG Demons’ Night Fever. It features the theme song “Dropout” with lyrics and music by Studou and arrangement by Rockwell.
Demons’ Night Fever is described as a Speedrun-Training Simulation RPG that builds on traditional grid-based tactical combat while introducing mechanics centered around sacrificing your own party members.
The core system revolves around the Servant Overwork Mechanic, encouraging players to deliberately send allies to their deaths in battle. Repeated deaths strengthen your army and unlock more abilities.
Players take control of Giga Super Death, the Devil whose powers have been stripped away after being transformed into a baby. The story follows the quest to recover the lost powers and confront a false god who rules under the guise of justice.
The project features Roman Kitayama handling the original story and scenario, Yuji Himukai as character designer, Tatsuya Yano composing the soundtrack, and Sohei Niikawa serving as producer.
Demons’ Night Fever will be released for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 22, 2026.
