Sega has announced that their multiplayer party game Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! will launch in the West for Nintendo Switch on April 26, 2024. Pre-orders will become available soon.

This four-player title will be playable both locally and online and have players compete across a game board to become the best slayer.

Many characters from the source material will be selectable, including “Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, as well as the nine Hashiras.” Nezuko Kamado will be a support character. Further, the playable boards will be themed after locales from the anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa.

The following minigames were revealed:

  • Sneaky Sword Styling – Hide from Kanamori as you customize Inosuke’s jagged sword!
  • Tanjiro’s Total Concentration Training – Help Tanjiro with his Total Concentration training!
  • Team Memory Matching – A 2v2 team battle! Work together in a team to match cards with the same image.
  • Knock ‘Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay – Trade blows with your opponent and try to push them out of the zone!

Two boards fans can anticipate are ” “Board Two featuring Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo [and] Board Three featuring the Mugen Train.”
