Release Date Delayed for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One and Warzone
Treyarch and Activision have announced that the release date of Season One for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and the free-to-play, free-for-everyone title Warzone, has been delayed from December 10 to December 16.
Season One contains the largest volume of content in Black Ops history, with it boasting a massive expansion of free content. More specifically, comprehensive integration of Operators, weapons, player progression, and Battle Pass rewards across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are to be implemented. As a thank-you gift from developer Treyarch, and as an apology for the delay, Double EXP and Double Weapon EXP will be enabled on 10AM PT December 12 up until the launch of Season One on December 16.
Two free bundles will become available to all Black Ops Cold War players via a brand new Pre-Season offer. In order to obtain these two free bundles, players will simply have to log on between 10AM PT December 8 and 11PM PT December 15.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC via Blizzard’s shop. In case you missed it, you can check out our review of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PlayStation 5.
