Deck-Building FPS ‘Friends vs Friends’ Receives a May Release Date
Raw Fury announced that the Brainwash Gang-developed deck-building FPS Friends vs Friends is coming to PC via Steam on May 30, 2023, for $9.99. An additional 40% launch discount will be available after launch for a limited time.
Friends vs Friends has players enter a colorful world where they must utilize cards that execute special powers, weapons, and debuffs against opposing players. This online PvP shooter combines combat and deck-building to allow players to play cards that do all sorts of stuff, such as transforming them into a titan, summoning some torrents, stealing health, or transforming the opponent into something ridiculous.
Players are able to choose from various characters, each with their own abilities that improve the synergies of decks. Cards are collected and can be leveled up to increase their power. The team plans to update the game with seasonal content post-launch to add new characters, cards, maps, and upgrades to the base. Further, players can unlock cosmetics for the characters to make them their own.
Balance is also a key feature, as matches are kept on an even playing field for all players.
Friends vs Friends is coming to consoles later this year.
