Decapolice Reveals 40 Minutes of Gameplay
During Tokyo Game Show 2023, developer LEVEL-5 shared roughly 40 minutes of gameplay footage for their upcoming turn-based mystery adventure Decapolice. One of the game’s cases is highlighted, comprising investigation and combat.
Decapolice occurs in Broadstone, a city of dreams and opportunity, but crime runs rampant here. However, detectives pursue the truth and use a virtual space called DECAISM or training. Further, what happens here can be used as clues to help solve crimes in reality.
To discover intricate truths about incidents, you can attack criminals’ minds for information, with their unlawful acts manifesting as Crime Beasts. But an unknown hacker working for a powerful organization has transformed the character data into toys, causing the cast’s appearances to alter.
Harvard Marks is the main character assigned to Broadstone’s Police Center as a rookie detective in the Special Investigations Unit. A notable serial killer known as the Clown will be hunted, the worst the world has ever seen.
Crimes that occurred will be reproduced within DECAISM, and it’s up to the detectives to find clues via crime scene analysis and piecing together facts from the Evidence Table. The Case Board will house these potential deductions, and Thinking Vision will determine whether your reasoning is accurate.
Two additional trailers were recently shared.
