Death’s Gambit: Afterlife Receives Extended Overview Video Highlighting Switch Gameplay

White Rabbit and Serenity Forge released an overview trailer for Death’s Gambit: Afterlife coming to Nintendo Switch as an expanded version of 2018’s Death’s Gambit.

The video is narrated by the game’s director to go over the Switch exclusive features and a few mechanics of the adventure. Viewers also get the chance to check out the new weapons and upgrades obtainable in this version of the game.

Death’s Gambit was released on PS4 and PC-via Steam in 2018, where players take on a challenging Metroidvania and gothic-themed adventure. Players assume the role of Death’s right hand as they fight to purge the souls of leagues of undying guardians. The game is said to be a hardcore 2D action platformer with RPG elements.

Players will need to rely on skills and strategy to overcome various encounters and challenges. There are multiple weapons and skills at their disposal, but enemies won’t go down all too easily. Further, the creatures become more difficult the further into Siradon you venture as players uncover the true price of immortality.
