Death Stranding Trailer Unveils Troy Baker’s New Masked Character
On the last day of Tokyo Game Show 2018, Kojima Productions launched a short teaser trailer for Death Stranding showing off a new character portrayed by Troy Baker, as well as new character art.
In the video above, Norman Reedus’ character Sam Porter Bridges is confronted by Baker’s mysterious antagonist wearing a golden mask. After some chatter of having a special surprise for Bridges before changing the rules, the caped foe uses the mask to summon a large creature with a face seemingly made of the same material used by the mask to conjure it.
Additionally, the new character art for previously shown actors, including Tommie Earl Jenkins, Lea Seydoux and others. It’s unknown at this time how these character’s exactly fit into the story of Death Stranding, but more will surely be revealed.
Death Stranding is in development for the PlayStation 4 without a release window.

Author’s Take: There is still so much we don’t know about Death Stranding and this trailer just adds to the pile. But judging from solely on Hideo Kojima, this new baddie is probably one of many with his mask being his particular ability. But like always, we’ll just have to wait until we get to play this game.
