Death Stranding November Release Date Revealed in New Trailer

At the end of a Death Stranding stream today on PlayStation’s Twitch channel, the release date for Hideo Kojima’s next game was revealed. Death Stranding will be officially launching on PlayStation 4 on November 8. Following the stream, a trailer, which has all the footage shown in the stream, went live shortly after.

The trailer gives us a slightly better idea of what exactly Death Stranding is as new gameplay footage is shown. From the trailer, we can gather that there will be a mixture of different gameplay systems in the game, such as hand-to-hand combat, gun combat, stealth encounters, and even motorcycle riding. In addition, it seems that the game will focus on rebuilding a ruined world of sorts. Needless to say, we’ll probably have to wait till E3 to get the complete scoop from Kojima himself to truly know all there is to know about Death Stranding.

Death Stranding was initially revealed back in 2016. The game marks Kojima’s first major project since he left Konami, and unfortunately, leaving the Metal Gear Solid series behind. Kojima has been giving us cryptic clues for Death Stranding via obscure trailers, but the latest trailer is the first true reveal of the game.

We still have many questions about the game, but hey, now we know we can play it on November 8.
