Death Stranding Director’s Cut Receives Trailer Detailing New Gameplay Additions

During today’s Gamescom live presentation, Hideo Kojima prepared a brand new trailer for the upcoming Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the definitive version of the original title that has already graced the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. This trailer showcases several new gameplay features that make this release of the game absolutely definitive, such as new missions, a new online ranking system, and much more.

Further, players will be able to interact with the world a little more by letting players jump over valleys using ramps on their motorcycles. THere’s also a racetrack where players can race against others in a time attack mode.

You can view the new trailer for Death Stranding Director’s Cut below:

Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been enhanced and built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5. The developers intend to draw you ever closer into the world of Death Stranding by adding haptic feedback from the Dualsense controller.  Giving players the option of two picture modes performance that will feature upscaled 4k display and 60 FPS, and fidelity mode that will feature native 4k and 60 fps. With the addition of 3D audio with compatible headsets, this looks to be the best way to experience Sam Bridges’ story yet. Finally, for those who already started their adventure, your saves will be able to be transferred to Director’s Cut.
