Death Stranding Director’s Cut PC Version Releasing March; Upgrade Pricing Detailed

Kojima Productions and 505 Games have announced that the PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be releasing on March 30, 2022. The title’s base price is $39.99, though owners of the original Death Stranding on PC can upgrade to the Director’s Cut version for $9.99 by purchasing via the original title’s in-game store.

This version of the title expands upon the initial release with an expanded narrative, new items, cosmetics, abilities, and stealth missions. It acts as an excellent entry point for those unfamiliar with the original while providing enough additions to entice veteran players. Additionally, like the enhanced PC release of Death Stranding, Director’s Cut will also boast higher frame rates and ultra-wide monitor support.

Additionally, all purchases of the PC version will include the following content:

  • “Selections From ‘The Art of DEATH STRANDING’” Digital Book (by Titan Books)
  •  Backpack Patches
  •  Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Gold)
  •  BB pod customization (Chiral Gold)
  • Power Gloves (Gold)
  • Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Silver)
  • BB pod customization (Omnireflector)
  • Power Gloves (Silver)

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be releasing for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 30, 2022. The title is currently available on PlayStation 5.
