Rising Star Games announced that developer Toybox Inc. will release the adventure mystery Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise exclusively on Nintendo Switch on July 10, both digitally and physically for $49.99.
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is said to be an open-world game set in the town of Le Carré. The game will visit many locations throughout, starting in Boston where FBI Agent Francis York Morgan returns to a case that he assumed was solved in 2005. Throughout the game, players will experience events that occurred in 2005 and 2019 as they piece together murders and mysterious crimes.
The game act as both a prequel and sequel to events of its predecessor. Furthermore, players will be able to get around the open-world on foot or on a skateboard. The game also features a handful of mini-games such as bowling, bayou ride, and skateboard challenges. I’m not even sure we are playing the same game anymore at this point.
Those who haven’t experienced this series can begin now as Deadly Premonition Origins is readily available on the Nintendo eShop.
The publisher also released a new trailer for the game giving players a preview of what awaits them in this new adventure. However, I must inform you that it doesn’t reveal much.
