The Next Dead Space Remake Developer Livestream Draws Near

Using a creepy teaser video, the official Dead Space Twitter account announced that there will be a new developer livestream rather soon. It’s a bit tough to hear through all the eerie ambiance, but the livestream is set to take place at 10 AM on March 11. The livestream is set to cover the work that goes into creating a remake like this from the perspective of the developers themselves.

A lengthier announcement trailer was released on the official Dead Space YouTube channel, showing a creepy necromorph followed by Dead Space protagonist Isaac Clarke, working away at one of the game’s many toolbenches.

Developed by Motive, the Montreal-based studio behind Star Wars Squadrons, the Dead Space remake puts players in the heavy boots of starship systems engineer Isaac Clarke. Isaac must navigate his way through the USG Ishimura after a mysterious event leads to the ship being overrun by terrifying monsters called the necromorphs.

Out of his depth, Isaac must survive as he finds his way out of the ship while uncovering the secrets behind the sketchy Church of Unitology and what happened to the USG Ishimura.

The Dead Space remake is set to release in Q4 of 2022 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
