Dead Cells Sells Over 10 Million Units Worldwide
The Evil Empire and Motion Twin studios have announced that their hit action roguelike Dead Cells has sold over ten million units worldwide since its Early Access Steam launch in 2017.
The title’s 34 free content updates and availability on several platforms have significantly bolstered its sales figures. Further, its collaborations with beloved franchises such as Shovel Knight, Hotline Miami, and Castlevania have let new audiences know of this roguelike. The team has also confirmed that fans can expect even more Dead Cells updates through 2025.
I hope to see this game continue to grow or receive even more collaborative DLC. It’s undoubtedly one of my favorite roguelikes on the market.
