Dead by Daylight Reveals Silent Hill Collaboration Adding Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason

Behaviour Interactive announced a collaboration between their 4v1 horror game Dead by Daylight and the Konami-developed series Silent Hill, which adds a new killer and character to the game.

Players will be able to experience the full extent of the collaboration when it launches on June 16 across all platforms. However, right now, players on PC can access a Public Test Build on Steam and give the event a go.

Added to the game is a new map that features Midwich Elementary School where players can roam the halls of stained walls, rusted chains, and hanging cadavers as they do their best to escape. Also joining is Silent Hill antagonist Pyramid Head as a new killer with the name “The Executioner. He drags his blade around as he hunts the players. Additionally, Cheryl Mason, previously known as Heather, is this chapter’s newest survivor.

“We are so thrilled to welcome Silent Hill as Chapter 16 of Dead by Daylight. Silent Hill is such an iconic video game license and to add it to our legendary roster of horror is truly an honor,” notes Mathieu Côté, Game Director on Dead by Daylight and Product Evangelist for Behaviour Interactive. “We hope players will have as much fun discovering this Chapter as we had in making it.”

Dead by Daylight has players take the role of a character, most are free, but some require DLC. The goal of the game is to escape being murdered by a player-controlled killer who is always out to hunt the four survivors. With various ways to survive the night, players must work together, or individually if you don’t care about the safety of your teammates, and escape.
