Warner Bros. Entertainment has announced that the DC Fandome event is occurring today at 1 PM ET/ 10 AM PT. For those unaware, this event showcases multiple DC series’ related projects such as movies and video games. And while a centralized star of the show will indeed be the upcoming The Batman film, two notable DC video games will also be receiving updates.
One of which is Gotham Knights. In this title, Batman is dead, and it’s time for a new set of heroes to rise up and save Gotham. This includes Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Nightwing. Each character has their own abilities and gameplay systems to take down enemies differently in combat. Players can approach gameplay as a single-player or co-op experience. There will be weapon drops throughout missions and ways to customize each character to fit the player’s playstyle. The title is being developed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Additionally, its developer is WB Games Montréal.
The other game shown off during DC Fandome will be Suicide Squad: Kills The Justice League. The title kind of gives it away but essentially, players will be able to control Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark in some assuredly chaotic antics. This title is being developed by RocksteadyGames, and its creative director and co-founder shared a new image of the upcoming title yesterday via his Twitter (which is this article’s featured image). Rocksteady is well-known for its work on the Batman Arkham games. The title is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
