Dauntless Launches on Switch With Cross-Platform Multiplayer Support

Phoenix Labs announced that their co-op action RPG Dauntless is available now on Nintendo Switch with full cross-platform support.

To celebrate the Switch release, the developers have pushed a free update for players called “Stormchasers.” This is currently the biggest update to date and adds a new layer of gameplay experiences. Players will discover Escalation, a new type of sequential hunt that features dual Behemoth encounters in addition to several elements seen in roguelike titles. Also, players will find a new Hunt Pass, Myth & Legend, which allows players to explore Ramsgate.

The developer released a new trailer showing the game running on Switch hardware, which does look like an excellent version of the game. Sure, it’s not going to be the same visual experience, but players playing with across multiple consoles won’t mind as long as they get to play with each other.

Dauntless is a free-to-play online game where players group up to take down large enemies. The game has received many changes since its beta launch in 2018, and there has been a growing community of players ever since. Currently, each version of the game supports cross-platform functionality.
