Dauntless Releasing This Week For PS5, Xbox Series X|S; Faster Load Times, 4K Resolution, 60 FPS, and More

Developer Phoenix Labs has announced that their co-op action RPG Dauntless will be launching for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday, December 2. This version of the title boasts 60 FPS, 4K resolution, 90% faster loading times, and drastically improved lighting. Further, console-specific features will also be enabled, like DualSense functionality on PlayStation 5 and 3D audio.

Cross-progression and cross-play are available between all iterations of the title, too. You can view specific details on the next-generation upgrades made to the title via the official Dauntless website. Select screenshots can be adjusted to see the staggering differences between the last-generation and current-generation versions of the game. Environments look altogether different with new coats of paint of great magnitude and vibrancy. Lastly, 36 new trophies and achievements have been added to the PlayStation 5 version, with even a new Platinum.
