Dauntless Leaves Early Access Officially Later This Month

Phoenix Labs announced that their online co-op action RPG Dauntless will officially launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 26.

Dauntless’ release has hit some road bumps during its time in development, but the developer has been fully transparent on the situation. It’s through listening to the community that the team has brought the game to version 1.0, which including, saved loadouts, a crafting UI overhaul, improvements to transmogs, a new exotic weapon, and more,

The game will launch with a new seasonal expansion, “Aether Unbound”, which adds a new batch of weapons, Behemoth, Hunt Pass, and a bounty system. The weapon updates include the new aether striker which gives Slayers the ability to launch powerful attacks.

After Dauntless exits early access, the game will continue to group with planned updates that will add new content to the free-to-play game. Currently, there is a development roadmap for the game.

Dauntless is a free-to-play online game where players group up to take down large enemies. The game has received many changes since its beta launch in 2018 and there has been a growing community of players ever since. Hopefully, the full launch, along with the cross-platform functionality, will keep this game going strong.

Dauntless is available now and can be downloaded for free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
