Action RPG ‘Dauntless’ Exits Early Access With a New Trailer and Update

Phoenix Labs has released their online co-op action RPG Dauntless on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Alongside the 1.0 update, players will find a brand new expansion when logging in. Aether Unbound is the game’s largest seasonal expansion to date and features all-new weapons, Behemoth, Hunt Pass, and a Bounty system. The new Bounty system will replace the weekly quests and Hunt Pass part breaks, allowing Slayers to pick and choose which bounties they are most interested in pursuing.

“Today is the celebration and culmination of the past five years of the development of Dauntless, and the amazing community of Slayers that have supported the game, provided feedback and ultimately helped us craft the experience of the Shattered Isles,” said Jesse Houston, Phoenix Labs CEO and Co-Founder. “As we cross the 1.0 milestone and 15 million players, we as a studio could not be more excited to set our sights on the future of Dauntless.”

Dauntless will continue to grow with planned updates that will add new content to the free-to-play game. Currently, there is a development roadmap for the game.

Dauntless is a free-to-play online game where players group up to take down large enemies. The game has received many changes since its beta launch in 2018 and there has been a growing community of players ever since. Hopefully, the full launch, along with the cross-platform functionality, will keep this game going strong.
