Idea Factory International revealed new details for the romance visual novel Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam in June.
The details revolve around information for the character Yoshino, also known as “Hermit”. Evidently, she is the second Spirit who Shido saves during the story. Her personality is calm and reserved, so much so, that she has her puppet friend, “Yoshinon”, speak for her. Being a manifestation of the angel “Zadkiel”, Yoshino’s presence is a breath of fresh air in the sea of louder and more affectionate personalities in the game.
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation adds a brand new character, Rio, to the game. Evidentally, she just shows up and calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.” Now, I know those who have never heard of this series are left in the dark about all this, but thankfully the Rio Reincarnation version of the game includes both Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, which were released on PlayStation 3, to catch you up.
Each visual novel is around 40 hours long and allows the player to spend time with the 11 different characters and choose from over 150 dating events. Throughout the story, players will make choices that affect each girl’s feelings for the player and how they interact with him. Illustrations in the game have also been given some life as the characters react to your conversations and move their mouths.
The PS4 version of the game will have 2 modified CG images, while the PC release will have all original CGs.
