Romance Visual Novel ‘Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation’ Introduces Rio Sonogami in New Trailer

Idea Factory International released new details for their romance visual novel Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation, coming July 23 in North America and July 26 in Europe on PlayStation 4 and July 23 worldwide on PC-via Steam.

The publisher has revealed information about the new character Rio Sonogami, who just so happens to be the “most important thing”. The trailer gives players a nice look at the different systems and features within the game including new characters.

Additionally, we get new information about Marie Arusu and Marina Arusu. Marie has made it her priority to collect information about love and she is eager to learn all that she can. She is also willing to apply things in practice, even if she doesn’t totally understand them. On the other hand, Marina Arusu is a girl who looks exactly like Maria and appears before Shido in the digital world. She enjoys teasing Shido, but she still relies on him to help the digital world.

Each visual novel in this collection is around 40 hours long and allows the player to spend time with the 11 different characters and choose from over 150 dating events. Throughout the story, players will make choices that affect each girl’s feelings for the player and how they interact with him. Illustrations in the game have also been given some life as the characters react to your conversations and move their mouths.

The PS4 version of the game will have 2 modified CG images, while the PC release will have all original CGs. The game also has a digital art book.
