Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Coming West For PS4 and PC

Idea Factory International announced they will publish Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation on PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in Spring 2019.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation adds a brand new character, Rio, to the game. Evidentally, she just shows up and calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.” Now, I know those who have never heard of this series are left in the dark about all this, but thankfully the Rio Reincarnation version of the game includes both Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, which were released on PlayStation 3, to catch you up.

Each visual novel is around 40 hours long and allows the player to spend time with the 11 different characters and choose from over 150 dating events. Throughout the story, players will make choices that affect each girl’s feelings for the player and how they interact with him. Illustrations in the game have also been given some life as the characters react to your conversations and move their mouths.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation will receive a physical and digital release on PlayStation 4 and digital-only release on PC. The PS4 version of the game will have English subtitles only, while the PC version will include English and Traditional Chinese.
