Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Streams Character Trailer and Details Tohka Yatogami
Idea Factory International revealed new details for the romance visual novel Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam in June.
The new details revolve around a character trailer which is given the sub-line of Part 1, meaning there will be a series of other trailers to come. This character trailer introduces the romanceable characters in the game that the player will get to know throughout the story. Each of the characters has a unique personality and interest that will surely fit the preference of the player.
Additionally, new screenshots have been released of Tohka Yatogame, also known as Princess. Tohka is formal and innocent as she carries herself to a high standard and moral code. However, this doesn’t stop her from feeling drawn to Shido and after being the first spirt that he encounters.
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation adds a brand new character, Rio, to the game. Evidentally, she just shows up and calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.” Now, I know those who have never heard of this series are left in the dark about all this, but thankfully the Rio Reincarnation version of the game includes both Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, which were released on PlayStation 3, to catch you up.
Each visual novel is around 40 hours long and allows the player to spend time with the 11 different characters and choose from over 150 dating events. Throughout the story, players will make choices that affect each girl’s feelings for the player and how they interact with him. Illustrations in the game have also been given some life as the characters react to your conversations and move their mouths.
The PS4 version of the game will have 2 modified CG images, while the PC release will have all original CGs.
