Konami has premiered “Back to the Sea,” the debut single to the original soundtrack of its upcoming platformer, Darwin’s Paradox!
This song was made in collaboration with Milan Records and Sony Music Masterworks. Additionally, Franck Lascombe, the founder of the indie pop group FlyPop, wrote and produced the track. Prospective fans can listen to the track on Apple Music, Spotify, and more.
Further, a music video was shared alongside this song, featuring the titular protagonist. The game’s full soundtrack will be released on April 3, 2026, from Milan Records.
Darwin’s Paradox! follows the titular octopus who finds itself in an industrial complex. Comprising platforming, puzzle-solving, and stealth-inspired gameplay, players will use Darwin’s abilities, such as swimming, camouflage, infiltration, and agile movement, to overcome traps.
Darwin’s Paradox! will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on April 2, 2026, for $24.99.
