THQ Nordic has announced that its action RPG Darksiders Warmastered Edition will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 19, 2026, for $29.99.
Originally released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and PC, the remaster follows War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who is accused of prematurely bringing about the end of the world. Stripped of his powers, he returns to Earth to learn the truth.
The title features action combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving, with abilities and various weapons. Players can also upgrade War’s skills and traverse interconnected environments that hold numerous collectibles.
The game also includes full voice support in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
