Darksiders III Finally Slashing onto Switch Next Month; Both DLCs Freely Included

Publisher THQ Nordic has announced that their action hack-n-slash adventure title, Darksiders III, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2021. Of course, this news was being expected for a while, given how every other main entry of the series has been available on the platform for quite some time; those titles being Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, and Darksiders Genesis.

Furthermore, in addition to the news of this long-awaited port happening, the publisher also announced that the Keepers of the Void and The Crucible DLCs will be freely included in the package.

Darksiders III takes place during the events of Darksiders II. Players will explore the world as Fury and gain access to her full arsenal of magic abilities as well as her weapon, a whip. The game features hack and slash combat as the player must fight their way through multiple levels and learn more about the state of a war-torn planet Earth.

Despite the mixed reception the title has received amongst critics, this entry does have a decently large following who vastly enjoy the combative and exploratory features it houses. Furthermore, with this game now making its way to the Switch, all console owners can finally experience every currently released title in the franchise.
