Action RPG ‘Darkness Rises’ Celebrates 25 Million Downloads Worldwide With Samurai Shodown Collaboration and New Trailer

Nexon announced that their action RPG Darkness Rises has been downloaded over 25 million times worldwide and to celebrate the game has revealed a special collaboration with Samurai Showdown VI.

From now until May 9, players will be able to acquire costumes that make Darkness Rises classes look like characters from Samurai Shodown VI. Additionally, the game has been updated to include five new Samurai Shodown inspired pets, which are mini versions of five characters from the series.

Players can also enjoy daily log-in rewards during the 7-day Attendance Event, which includes A+ ranked gear chests, gold, and other rewards.

Darkness Rises is a fast action mobile RPG where players will go on a linear adventure that will face them up against powerful enemies and large-scale bosses. The game features multiple classes to choose from along with a deep customization feature to personalize characters and make them your own. The game aims to present players console like quality gameplay on mobile devices.

Darkness Rises is available now free-to-play on iOS and Android devices.

The publisher also released a new trailer showing each of the Samurai Shodown VI characters in action along with the classes they will associate with.
