Horror Adventure ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan’ Details Shared Story Multiplayer in New Video
Bandai Namco released a new video for the Supermassive Games developed narrative-driven adventure The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on August 30.
The video introduces the 2-player multiplayer story mode from the developers themselves. During gameplay, players will be able to explore the environment together. Furthermore, in the event that both characters are speaking to each other, it will be both of them deciding what to do and they must suffer any consequences because of it.
During The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, players will make decisions that they have to live with. Some of these choices can cause characters to die and thus altering the game’s narrative. This is similar to the developer’s previous title Until Dawn, which was a huge success in terms of story design and gameplay. The game follows the story of 5 stowaways who embarked on a journey in a stormy sea.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan will launch with Day 1 access to the “Curator’s Cut”, which players can pre-order today. However, the Curator’s Cut will be made available to players post-launch, but not until a later date.
