Action RPG ‘Dark Devotion’ Gets New Gameplay Overview Video Ahead of Launch

The Arcade Crew released a new video for their action RPG Dark Devotion, coming to PC-via Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle on April 25 for $19.99 and consoles at a later date.

Dark Devotion is a challenging side-scroller action game where players set off on a journey for divine recognition. In order to help players out, the developer has created a gameplay overview video detailing what players can expect on their adventure and how to handle certain situations. Evidently, enduring the temple’s trials will require the player to have flawless reflexes and determination to get through some of the encounters.

Gameplay will find players exploring a temple through unique environments full of mystery. The enemy encounters in the game are made to feel impactful and mistakes will have consequences. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, Dark Devotion aims to make the player work for their goal, which revolves around looting supplies. Supplies in the game is a precious resource demanded by an unappeasable God who is happy to watch you struggle against its most loyal Templars.

The new video gives a better idea of what awaits players in the temple. The video is narrated and also gives players a preview of the upgrading system and combat system.
