Dark Adventure Visual Novel ‘Dies irae ~Interview with Kaziklu Bey~’ Shows 20-Minutes of English Gameplay Before Launch

Views Co. released the prologue for the Light developed grim adventure visual novel Dies irae ~Interview with Kaziklu Bey~, will launch on PC-via Steam on February 28.

The prologue gives players about 20-minutes of English game footage for players to preview the game before its official launch in the west. The publisher also adds this to the description:

Wither to ashes, O my first love ―― my beginning.

A side-story depicting an event in the past of the world of Dies irae. At last, the dawn of the Obsidian Round Table will be revealed. Number 4 of the Longinus Dreizehn Orden’s Obsidian Round Table, Wilhelm Ehrenburg.

Right before he heads to Japan to partake in the black magic ceremony to bring about the Transmutation of Gold,he recounts his past to an interviewer. It is the story of an albino woman he met on the battlefield of Warsaw in 1944.

Dies irae ~Interview with Kaziklu Bey~ is a side story based in the universe of Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~, starring Wilhelm Ehrenburg. During the game, players will follow Wilhelm as he takes center stage in the story during the final months of World War II. Takashi Masada returns as the writer along with artist G Yuusuke.

Dies irae ~Interview with Kaziklu Bey~ takes place in a bar for vampires as Kaziklu Bey recounts events of his past during an interview. Players can expect to learn more about these dark moments of his life during this side story.
