DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ Delayed to July Release in New Gameplay Video

Taito and ININ Games announced that DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 27, 2021, in the west. The game will receive both a digital and physical release in the regions. The game was initially scheduled to release on June 11.

The trailer highlights the gameplay and shows off the co-op mode features four players.

The DariusBurst series first began in 2009 on PSP before heading to Arcades. Initially developed by Pyramid, DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ will feature the arcade version of “Another Chronicle EX,” with add accessibility features such as replay mode and new missions.

DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ features the Burst Beam to add a strategic approach to missions and clearing out enemies. The screen-filling laser shoots blasts or can lock onto a position and be used as a shield which gives players the opportunity to hide behind it.

The oceanic themes are back with fishy bosses and level designs. The sci-fi and deep-sea mix of creatures is a prominent feature in DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+. The screen is ultra-broad, modeled after the dual-display of the arcade version, which gives a full view of the enemies and levels to add to the atmosphere.

DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ features a local co-op mode for up to 4 players, four game modes, and the ability to use the Silver-Hawk Murakumo in all modes.
